ABOUT CLUNIE COMMUNITY HALL
Clunie Hall Association (CHA) is a registered charity established to manage and support Clunie Hall a community facility for the use of inhabitants of Clunie and its immediate rural vicinity. Our board of Trustees are responsible, along with elected committee members for the running and management of the organisation.
All the activities at the Hall are people-led. We take pride in sharing our skills and knowledge with the community. Our aim is bringing people from our local community together, improve our facilities and widen the range of activities that can be offered.
MISSION
Clunie Hall is far more than a venue. It’s a hub for the expression and realisation of creative ideas. People and visitors connect with each other for a huge range of activities; sporting, cultural, skill improvement and social. Serving all age groups, from babies to elderly people it is socially inclusive to diverse cultural groups who come together to share skills and experiences.
CHA aims to provide an accessible, safe, versatile, well maintained and well-presented village hall to be used for social, recreational, educational and leisure activities with facilities which will be to the benefit and wellbeing of and meet the needs and aspirations of the local community and other hall users.
CHA aims to meet all the hall’s running costs from the income of activities including occasional private or commercial hire which may also be used to subsidise activities provided that this is in the interest of our own community.
CHA aims to seek funds from fundraising, grants and donations to cover the costs of capital projects to ensure the village asset is maintained and continues to adapt to the needs of the community.
